Visiting Roatan? Here are some of my favorite places on the island! The Hotels, Shops, Attractions and Restaurants listed are places I’ve stayed at, eaten at, or experienced personally.

Oak Ridge

Oak Ridge is a small fishing village on the east side of Roatan. Small boats are the main form of transportation here and you’ll also see larger shrimp and lobster boats.

You can take a “water taxi” boat tour from Oakridge to Jonesville and back. You'll go through a mangrove tunnel and beside beautiful coral reefs. If you're lucky you may even see the "Black Pearl".
