Tecno Corona was established in 2007 as a dental lab.

A suitable building was found however the building didn’t look like a lab, it looked like a tourist shop.

We couldn’t shake that thought so we redesigned our logo and went to work.

The thought of opening a tourist shop in the Bay Islands is crazy. There are more tourist shops than you can count in West End alone. We knew in order to be successful we couldn’t just sell the same Caribbean handicrafts everyone else sells so we came up with products we could make by hand in our own shop. Souvenirs that would be unique and remind you of your time in Roatan.

Our first product was Velas de la Bahia, handmade soy candles, followed by BB Games, and Jewelry. We make our own clay beads for our Bahia Beads jewelry, and we even developed our own line of tropical lotions, Roatan Natural.

Of course we can’t make everything here so some of our items are made at our “sister shop” on the island of Hispañola and for everything else we’ve searched for the best products at the best prices throughout the Caribbean and elsewhere to ensure you get a good deal on whatever you purchase from our store.
